STABLE, SAFE REAGENTS FOR REDUCTION CHEMISTRY
ActiveGel is a convenient and easily-used reductant for a broad array of important transformations including Birch reductions, protecting group removal, ester reductions, aryl phosphine reductions, and radical coupling reactions. ActiveGel can be used in a wide range of ethereal, aromatic, and hydrocarbon solvents and over a broad temperature regime (-78° to >150° C). No liquid ammonia or special equipment is required.
